How about an afternoon sampling the finest wines produced, not only in Israel but all over the world. Well, that is exactly what we did at the Grape Man in Tel Aviv as you can see in the above GoPro video footage that we shot….

An Amazing Collection of the Finest Wine

We arrived in the early afternoon on Friday. Grape Man offers wine tasting open houses every Friday from 11:00-5:00 in the afternoon at their location in South Tel Aviv. As soon as you register, you are given your personal wine goblet and you are free to start to experience the finest wines available. Every week is a different theme. Our tasting from this past Friday 30.10.2015 featured smaller boutique wineries from all over Israel.

The staff is quite courteous, speak fluent English and very knowledgeable about their offerings. They are all very eager to help you find the perfect wine to fit your taste. All wine offerings are available for sale during the event. We ended up finding a wonderful bottle of red wine from a small winery Hans Sternbach in the Hakhill Valley in the Hills of Judea. We had obviously never heard of them before but that is the whole idea. You can find these types of wines from all over the word from wineries or places you never heard of. 

The Wine Cellar

The Grape Man boasts an amazing collection of the finest wines from all over the world in their climate controlled wine cellar. Hundreds of bottles of the finest wines, brandies, Grappa, and Rum from the finest wineries globally. Their staff actually travels the world in search of the finest spirits available. In fact, the wine and marketing director Guy Haran just returned from a trip to the Piemonte region of Northwest Italy known to be one of the top wine producing regions in the world. Grape Man offers customized private wine and culinary tours and Guy serves as your personal guide and wine expert.
