In the heart of Israel situated between the Carmel mountains and the sea, you'll find this lovely Zimmer in Binyamina; B&B Grushka run by Gerda (Hedva is her Hebrew name) Grushka. This area boasts a rich offering of beautiful white sandy beaches, crystal clear blue waters, luscious green landscapes, adventure tours, hiking, and a wealth of other attractions for the entire family.

Established in 1991 after a long stay in her hometown in the Netherlands, Hedva and her late husband Zevek decided they wanted to bring European style country lodging to the area. In Holland, they were inspired by country style accommodations in the village they lived (which is the same village Gerda was brought up in). When they moved back to Israel, they decided to have a place in Zevek's home village of Binyamina that can offer its guests quiet rest in a country atmosphere with a European style.

Grushka offers five different B&Bs decorated uniquely according to a homey European style each one named after a flower exclusive to Israel:

My family and I have stayed in Grushka's B & B on several occasions on my numerous trips to Israel. I consider it to be my home away from home. They are warm wonderful people that offer extraordinary hospitality to all of their guests. Hedva is fluent in English, Hebrew, and Dutch. The location is a perfect home base for traveling central and Northern Israel with access to all major roadways.

Within walking distance, there are restaurants, banking, health services, and a short 5 minute drive to the Mediterranean Sea. A fresh local homegrown breakfast is available featuring local cheeses, homemade bread and jams, and locally grown fruits and vegetables. The private atmosphere combined with high quality services in each fully equipped suite will make your vacation truly unforgettable.
