The beautiful authentic stone building

This newly renovated 200 year old house boasts domed ceilings and open stone decor. A little touch of Morocco in the way of lamps and stained glass integrated with in the building adds to the uniqueness of the Artist Quarter Guesthouse. The dream of its owners, Joy and Evan Yisrael, new immigrants from California to Israel was to provide their guests with quiet tranquil surroundings together in a comfortable classic ambience.

The interior of the standard unit

Joy and Evan Yisrael offer two units, a standard size room for up to 3 adults and a suite for up to 7 adults. Each unit belonging to the Artist Quarter Guesthouse provides a dining area, free Wi-Fi, central air conditioning/heating. The kitchenettes overlook the courtyard and are equipped with a refrigerator, electric kettle, shabbat hot water urn and electric hot plate. The kitchenette in the suite has a microwave. Both kitchenettes are stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, milk and a variety of fresh breakfast items.

The beautiful decor

Joy and Evan Yisrael provide everything needed for the Sabbath to pass smoothly for their religious guests. They also cater complete Sabbath meals from their Mehadrin (strictest kosher) kosher kitchen for their guests at a cost of 100 shks per person. (this needs to be ordered by noon Wednesday)

Joy, an experienced holistic healer trained through the Holistic Health Program at the University of California at Santa Cruz, offers her services to her female guests. She incorporates Swedish massage with reflexology, acupressure and craniosacral therapy into her treatments. It is without a doubt an inspirational way to start or end your day.
